13-Year-Old Boy Suffers Gunshot to the Leg in Tyler Overnight Shooting
Very early this morning (July 20) around 3 am, Tyler police officers responded to an aggravated assault call on McDonald Road in Tyler.
According to a press release from Patrol Sergeant Chad Homer of the Tyler Police Department, officers arrived on scene to find multiple rounds fired into the residence - indicated by bullet holes in the window.
It was then discovered that a 13-year-old boy was struck in the leg during the shooting. He has since been transported to a hospital by local Emergency Medical Services.
