Last night around 11 p.m., an 11-year-old boy from Jefferson was struck by a vehicle in Longview. He is now in a Dallas hospital, according to the Longview Journal.

The boy, identified as Aaron Christopher Lloyd is described as having life-threatening injuries and his condition is unknown as of Friday morning.

KETK NBC reported that the boy was trying to cross the highway from east to west on Eastman Rd near a park. According to the man driving the vehicle, 73-year-old Jimmy Ray Noble, the child ran into the path of the car and he was unable to swerve or stop to prevent the accident.

At the moment, police say Noble is not at fault as Lloyd was not crossing at an intersection or crosswalk.

Please send your prayers for the recovery of the 11-year-old  Aaron Christopher Lloyd.
