Christian Coalition and Focus on the Family are hating on Johnny Depp for his part in the song 'Jesus Stag Night Club' by the band 'Babybird'.

The song tells a tale of a man who looks like Jesus being hired for a bachelor party. In the end it turns out that the look-a-like was actually Jesus and he passed out from alcohol consumption.

Johnny lent his voice only for a small part of the song.

"I'm sure he thinks he's being very funny, but he's simply a disgrace. One day, Johnny Depp and his cronies will face the judgment of our Lord and they will burn in hell for this filth. We are sickened by Mr. Depp's behavior. Why did he need to record this song? It's a slap in the face to Christians all over the world.''

The lead singer from Babybird, Steven Jones rebutted by stating.
"Christians go to heaven. Sinners go to hell. This is their message of peace. Oh yes and gays can f–k off too. It's a beautiful world, Jesus.  Every song I've ever written is full to the brim with meaning, and this song takes the idea that if Jesus was around today, he would probably be laying low, like I was, in a Days Inn single room, staying incognito to prevent fueling any religious hatred."
