We Remember Vanity

Sad new was reported by Shelia E. yesterday that Vanity had passed away at the age of 57.

Denise Katrina Matthew, better know as Vanity, the beautiful lady who sang and was mentored by Prince, died yesterday after battling kidney failure. Recently, she was struggling with abdominal issues.

Vanity was the lead singer of the group Vanity 6 that formed in 1982. In the 90's she found her faith and began to work for the Lord as an evangelist. It is believed that she passed due to a deadly condition called sclerosis encapsulating peritonitis, which is also called abdominal cocoon.
