UT Tyler Patriot Million Dollar Hole in One Begins Saturday

The UT Tyler Patriot Million Dollar Hole in One competition presented by Suddenlink begins qualifying rounds on Saturday morning at 10:00 a.m. I would like to personally invite you to join us on campus at UT Tyler to take your shot to qualify for the finals on Sunday May 18.

Yes, I am a UT Tyler Patriot. We host this event annually to raise money for scholarships at the University of Texas at Tyler in conjunction with the Patriot Golf Classic, which is scheduled for Monday May 19, at Hollytree Country Club in Tyler.

How do you qualify for the Finals? Hit a hole in one on campus, or get closest to the pin during the qualifying shift. Check out the official rules, and come take your shot throughout the week.

In recent years, the Patriot organization has incorporated music with the Wagner Cadillac Music Series. Corporate Lane Sponsors will enjoy acoustic performances for Texas music artists, catered dinner and are guaranteed a qualifier from their organization.

Monday night Kylie Rae Harris will perform, and on Tuesday UT Tyler Alum Bailey Grey returning home from Nashville to perform. Wednesday night, Cody Canada will play an acoustic set, and Thursday night will feature Mike and the Moonpies.

Friday night, the Patriots will leave the lanes open late during Friday Night Lights, and I'll be there spinning tunes. Help raise scholarship money by taking your swing at $1 per shot. It's a lot of fun, and for a great cause!
