Tyler's annual Twilight Easter Egg Hunt is coming up tomorrow night (Thursday 28th) at Lindsay Park on Spur 344. The Easter bunny will be laying hundreds of eggs on the softball fields and little ones aged 3 to 10 will be able to hunt them when the twilight is just right!

The annual event is a partnership with the Tyler Parks and Recreation department, Tyler Police Department, Smith County Sheriff's Office and many other organizations and businesses.

The hunt will be divided into four groups and will hunt for the eggs accordingly:

  • special needs children - hunt at 7p
  • ages 3-5 - hunt at 7:15p
  • ages 6-8 - hunt st 7:35p
  • ages 9-10 - hunt at 7:55p

As tempting as it may be for some parents, hunting these eggs will be done by the children as no parent is allowed on the hunting field! There will be other family entertainment at Lindsay Park too, bounce slide and house, balloon sculptures will be available plus McGruff the Crime Dog will pay the kids a visit too!
