Tyler Police investigating fatal shooting

Tyler police are investigating a fatal weekend shooting.

A Tyler man, Jerome Jones, was shot and killed Saturday, according to TylerPaper.com. His body was found in the grass on the side of Old Gladewater Highway. The vicitm was found with at least one gunshot. Authorities performed an autopsy this morning. There have been several deadly shootings here in Tyler and East Texas recenlty. According to a police press release,

“Investigators continue to believe that there are similarities in these cases and that they are drug related.”
