Tyler ISD school bus involved in crash this morning

A Tyler ISD school bus was involved in an accident Friday morning.

It has been a busy morning, so far, for Smith County troopers. Tyler ISD bus #25 was involved in a crash, but thankfully there were no immediate injuries to students, according to EastTexasMatter.com. Students were loaded onto another bus. The driver of the truck involved in the crash was injured. According to EastTexasMatter.com, there were at least five other vehicles involved in the accident.

There was also a crash on Highway 64 at Farm-to-Market road 279, which involved a tractor-trailer and passenger car. There has been no report on tany possible injuries at this time.

Department of Public Safety officials report that a third crash occurred near Farm-to-Market road 2661.
