TV Show ‘COPS’ Returns to Film in Houston

COPS, the long running reality TV series is coming to Houston! According to Chron, two Houston-area Sheriff’s departments confirmed the reality TV show COPS is filming with their deputies on Tuesday.

The Fort Bend County Sheriff’s Department and the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department both announced the news on social media about the partnership. They even cracked a joke or two about it.

The show aired on FOX Network in 1989, but it was moved to the cable network Spike in 2013.

Crews will be out recording for several weeks and the episodes for the 30^th season are set to air next spring. Word from the wise, if you are thinking of doing something stupid to gain 15 mins of fame, I advise you not to do it.
