Photos of the late Tupac Shakur are once again at the center of a controversy, this time involving a photographer and two well-known stores.

According to photographer Chi Modu, a merchandising company used his photos of Pac without permission to create t-shirts. TMZ reports that court documents claim the merchandising company then sold the apparel to Urban Outfitters and Macy's, which then sold the shirts to public without Modu's permission.

Modu admits to having an agreement with the merchandising company but says their agreement ended in July 2016. According to the photographer, the company started selling the shirts after their contract expired. Modu wants all of the store's profits from the apparel, as well as damages.

Earlier this month, Kendall Jenner's company was sued by photographer Al Pereira who claimed the model's company was using his images without his permission for t-shirts. Pereira's photo featured Pac, The Notorious B.I.G. and Redman.
