Who could forget the timeless voice of Urban/Pop princess Aaliyah? Born Aaliyah Dana Haughton, her style of music crossed over from R&B, to Pop. Aaliyah's first single, Age Aint Nothing But A Number was a hit produced by R. Kelly. Aaliyah was a tremendous talent who's life was cut short after she was killed in an airplane accident in the Bahamas. Before her untimely death, Aaliyah was scheduled to appear in several film projects such as "Honey", that was re-casted to Jessica Alba. Also, a remake of the movie, "Sparkle" which was going to be produced by Whitney Houston, but was cancelled. She was also to appear in several Matrix films, but her roles were re-cast to Nona Gaye, daughter of the late Marvin Gaye. If Aaliyah were here today, she'd be killin the industry with her savy style, and undefined talent. RIP.
