I've been hearing a lot about the city of Jefferson, Texas as a place that is known for paranormal activity.  Matter of fact, according to Only In Your State it has been named one of the most haunted towns in the state.  They say that nearly every building has a ghost story behind it - especially their hotels.  Let's take a look at some of the paranormal places in Jefferson.

The Grove - This place has ghost stories that go back to the early 1800's and apparently nobody was able to stay in the residence long due to paranormal activity.  The Grove is open for public tours and if you are lucky you will see a ghost of a woman in a white dress, a man in the garden.

The Jefferson Hotel - If you are planning on staying here be prepared for a welcoming committee of paranormal activity.  According to stories you could possibly encounter a ghostly figure of a man in a long coat and boots in your room, or a small woman with blonde hair in Room 14.

With so much mystery with the city of Jefferson I am very interested in paying the town a visit and seeing if I may come across some paranormal activity.

Have you every experienced some paranormal activity while visiting Jefferson, TX?
