100 Families Receive Free Turkeys From Steve Harvey

One word to describe the atmosphere on Tuesday (November 21) and that’s humbled! Thank you, East Texas, for helping me lead the charge to help families that could use a helping hand this Thanksgiving by nominating them to receive a FREE turkey curtesy of The Steve Harvey Morning Show.

For the last couple of weeks Hot 107-3 Jamz has been asking East Texans’ if they know anybody of if they are somebody that needed a helping hand this Thanksgiving to let us know about it and you have responded to the call. We have received plenty of emails about families who lost loved ones, got laid off their job, or the finances wasn’t there and through your help we were able to place smiles on families who can have a Thanksgiving dinner.

Personally, I have experienced hardships in my life to where I was evicted from my apartment, car repossessed and had no idea how I was going to make it, but through the community lending a helping hand it definitely took the weight off and made the day a little bit brighter and I am glad we could do the same for you.
