We live in a world now where people will do just about anything for likes and views on social media.  From the ‘Tide Pod Challenge’, ‘Hot Coil Challenge’, and now the ‘Snorting Condom Challenge.’

Now to the individuals who might not be aware of the ‘Snorting Condom Challenge’ it is when you grab a condom, uncoil it place it in your nose and inhale until the long piece slides down your throat only to reach in your mouth and pull it out.

Why would somebody do that?  Your guess is as good as mine.

However, this craze isn’t new as the Washington Post reports it was made popular back in 2013 and some even say it dates back to 2007, but while many have done the challenge it can also be very dangerous and even deadly.

The Salt Lake Tribune reports, Bruce Lee (no not that Bruce Lee) an associate professor at the John Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health said in Forbes Magazine the only thing people should be snorting is air with the exception of nasal spray or prescribed medicine from a doctor.

The condom could easily get stuck in your nose or your throat, blocking your breathing or causing you to choke.

Even the thought of a condom going up my nose and out my mouth is painful enough and experts including myself is urging parents to talk to your children about social media challenges.

Use ‘condom’ sense and don’t snort condoms.
