Choosing a favorite Alicia Keys album is a difficult task, however, TheDrop.fm readers did so when it came to 'Songs in A Minor' and 'The Diary of Alicia Keys.' The latter came out as the victor, scoring 64.96 percent of the votes. Now that readers have voiced their opinion, it's time for the singer's second and third LPs to face-off.

‘The Diary of Alicia Keys’ is a blend of neo soul and contemporary R&B. She crafted several anthemic tracks, served fans with substance on ‘If I Ain’t Got You’ and gave those with an undeniable crush something to relate to on ‘You Don’t Know My Name.’ The LP earned Keys three gold gramophones at the 47th Annual Grammy Awards: Best R&B Album, Best R&B Song for You Don’t Know My Name’ and Best Female R&B Vocal Performance for ‘If I Ain’t Got You.’ The songbird also scored another No. 1 when the album rose to the top of the Billboard 200 chart in 2003.

'As I Am,' Keys' third effort, debuted in 2007, at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, selling 742,000 copies in its first week. The album even scored a triple platinum certification from the RIAA. The songstress released tracks centered on motivating women, like the  'Superwoman.' That song earned Keys her second consecutive Grammy Award for Best Female R&B Vocal Performance at the 2009 ceremony. Other singles like 'No One' became a hit, proving her knack for writing anthems that resonated with fans. She scored two Grammy Awards for that track at the 2008 ceremony: Best Female R&B Vocal Performance and Best R&B Song. Overall, the LP solidified her place at the top of the game.
