If you're sitting at your office computer right now, reading this as a distraction from your boring 9-to-5 job, this post is for you.

I absolutely love my job at the radio station.  However, on slow days, the hours just seem to drag on and it feels like 5:00 may never get here.  So, sometimes it's necessary to take matters into your own hands to spice up your workday.

How can this be done, you ask?

One method we love to use at the radio station is Office Pranks.  Here are a few of our favorite office pranks.

1. Post-It Note decor.  This one is pretty common, probably because it's easy to pull off.  It's funny, but if you want a unique prank, you'll have to be a bit more creative.

2. Office Supply Jell-O.  This is one of my person favorites from NBC's television show, "The Office."  I think the picture is pretty self-explanatory.

3. Chair-horn.  Since a Whoopee Cushion is usually too obvious to actually work, try duct taping an air horn to the underside of a coworker's chair.  Works every time.

4. Foiled again.  In our office, our previous Program Director, Jeff, was usually the butt of all of our jokes.  His office was tin-foiled over the last Christmas break, and we discovered an interesting fact about this prank: when everything in a person's office is wrapped in tin foil, the temperature in the room increases by almost ten degrees.  Just a word of advice to anyone planning to try this in Texas: wait until winter.  You want this to come across as funny, not cruel.

5. Voice-activated printers.  I can only imagine how hilarious it would be to catch this prank in action on a hidden camera.

6. Time to upgrade.  You know that one employee who is always complaining about how slow the computers are and how terrible the sound is on his speakers?  I'm sure this high-tech system upgrade would fix that.

7. Need some privacy?  Relocate your cubicle neighbor to the bathroom the next time they're invading your space. I'm sure this prank would get the message across loud and clear.

8. Snack time.  This one actually almost happened to me a few weeks back, but luckily, they felt bad about putting my iPhone in our vending machine and gave it back to me.  Watching Dwight Schrute try to get his things out of the vending machine was pretty funny, but I doubt I would've found this to be as amusing had it happened to me.

9. Thirsty?  Save your coworker a few trips to the water fountain.  Do them a favor by completely filling their office space with glasses of water.  I'm sure they will appreciate your thoughtfulness.

10.  Packed and ready to go.  This is definitely my favorite prank of all time.  On Jeff's last day here, my boss pulled him into his office for his exit interview, while a few of us went outside and filled Jeff's truck with packing peanuts ... This is how we do goodbyes at Townsquare Media.
