The power of social media within music is something yet to be harnessed at will by major labels and artists. But its huge boost to songs like Rae Sremmurd's "Black Beatles" and Migos' "Bad and Boujee" is undeniable as they both went globally viral and earned multiple platinum awards. Tee Grizzley may have struck platinum with the new LeBron James challenge that took off on Twitter today.

Three days after the Cavaliers lost to the Warriors in the NBA Finals, LeBron posted a video of himself getting amped in the gym and rapping along with Tee Grizzley's hit song "First Day Out." A few people found it funny enough to make their own videos on Twitter. But in a video that Tee tweeted out today, there is a a side-by-side comparison of LeBron's original video and @DaKidGowie's take on the #LeBronJamesChallenge. Gowie is actually a comedian and recording artist himself, and you can tell that he went all in by shaving his head and facial hair to resemble LeBron's new look. The movements and camera angles are hilariously spot on as well.

There aren't a ton of videos yet with the hashtag #LeBronJamesChallenge on Twitter and Instagram yet but with this initial push from Tee, it might take what JAY-Z named the best song out right now to the top of the charts.

What might also help out the song even further is the upcoming remix with Meek Mill. It's unlikely that the song will be on his upcoming album Activated since he plans on keeping his albums free of any guest features.

You can watch the original video from LeBron as well as Tee Grizzley's video below.
