Tamar Braxton is currently is in the hospital after suffering an allergic reaction to a prescribed medication, reports TMZ.

On Wednesday (Oct. 11), while the R&B singer was promoting her new album, Bluebird of Happiness, she was prescribed a steroid for her throat that caused a horrible reaction and her body swelled up. The swelling was so severe that she was rushed to the hospital when she returned to Los Angeles.

In the photo above, Braxton is wearing a hospital wristband and asking for prayers. The picture is captioned, #ThisBluebirdIsNotHappy. The 48-year-old artist is expected to stay in the hospital for a few days until she makes a full recovery.

This is not the first time Braxton has dealt with a health crisis. In November 2015, she was hospitalized for pneumonia and exhaustion prior to her performance on ABC's Dancing With the Stars.

Get well, Tamar Braxton!
