We all know what a sensation Dak Prescott became during his phenomenal rookie year in Dallas.  Cowboys fans are speculating he'll be even better this season with a full year's NFL experience under his belt.

The fate of the star Dak replaced is still unclear.  Tony Romo is officially on the team's roster, something nobody expected just a few weeks ago. One thing IS certain:  the current & future starting quarterback will make a special East Texas appearance next month.

According to Longview Journal, April 28th will be a memorable day for the Boys & Girls Club of the Big PinesDak Prescott is coming to the Belcher Center at LeTourneau University to share the inspirational story of his hard work & success.  Prescott grew up near Shreveport, so this part of the Lone Star State has a special place in his heart.  Dak initiated the contact with the Longview-Marshall organization, an unexpected but terrific surprise.  A private event sold out almost as fast as it was announced.  Now, the group hopes to raise even more funds from ticket sales for the Prescott public speech.

As for Tony Romo, different rumors & speculation are appearing almost daily, as noted by this fittingly titled article from Dallas News.   Earlier this week, Jerry Jones said the Romo situation would definitely be finalized "before training camp"!!!  Then just yesterday I read about both a supposed blockbuster trade that's imminent, while another alleged great source said Tony is coming closer to simply hangin' up his cleats & going into the tv broadcast booth.  Stay tuned, as this drama looks like it might go on for awhile longer...
