A black doctor being treated for Ebola in Nebraska died Monday morning. Dr. Martin Salia, became infected with the virus while treating patients in Sierra Leone. He was a legal resident living in Maryland with his wife and children.
New York has reported its first case of the deadly virus Ebola. Dr. Craig Spencer recently visited Guinea and tested positive for Ebola. This makes the 4th person in the United States to be diagnosed with this virus.
After weeks of concern, worry and then near panic over the deadly Ebola virus, there is finally some good news that will (hopefully) relieve some of the lingering fear of a broader epidemic.
A second health worker at Dallas Presbyterian Health Hospital was diagnosed with Ebola on Wednesday morning. Apparently the nurse had traveled by air from Cleveland on Monday.
