Bishop Paul Morton, who mentored Bishop Eddie Long of New Birth Missionary Baptist Church, wants Bishop Long  to publicly repent for his transgressions. Bishop Morton, who is over the Greater St. Stephen Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship said he felt like it was his duty to speak out because Long refuses to return any of his calls! Recently, he rebuked Bishop Long.

At this past Sunday's service, Bishop Eddie Long announced that the New Birth Missionary Baptist Church will be opening a new satellite "New Birth" church in Birmingham, Alabama. The BIshop announced this just a few weeks after he shared that there is also going to be a new church in Denver, Colorado.

Rev. Bernice King announced that she is stepping down as an elder at New Birth Missionary Baptist Church in Atlanta Georgia. This is supposed to be an action  unrelated to Bishop Eddie Long’s  recent settlement of four sexual misconduct lawsuits.

According to reports, Atlanta Georgia Megachurch pastor, Bishop Eddie Long has apparently reached an out-of-court settlement with the four young men who accused him of sexual abuse. B.J. Bernstein, the attorney representing the men, said in a statement that the lawsuits against Long and his church have “been resolved.”
