Steve + Marjorie Harvey Purchase 100 Turkeys for East Texas

Today Steve and Marjorie Harvey made 100 East Texans more excited about Thanksgiving Day. One hundred turkeys were shipped to Walmart on Troup Highway in Tyler for the sole purpose of giving back to the community.

Myself and Luscious Ice broadcasted live from Walmart on Troup Highway from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. When we arrived to the location at 10:30 a.m. there was already a line of excited listeners waiting for their opportunity to receive a free turkey for their Thanksgiving dinner. After the first hour we were down to only 20 turkeys.

Of the 100 turkeys, 50 of them were donated to the East Texas Food Bank. The management and listeners were very grateful to Steve and Marjorie for this generous donation and are looking forward to next year.
