Sherri & Vivica Announce Engagement

Sherri Shepard, 43, is set to be married to television writer Lamar Sally. People reports the proposal took place on Dec. 26, 2010, after Lamar asked permission from Sherri’s 5-year-old son, Jeffrey.
The couple have dated for more than one year.

Vivica Fox, 46, was engaged to Atlanta club promoter Omar ‘Slim’ White, 27. The couple, who have also dated for more than one year, were vacationing at the Ritz-Carlton in South Beach when Omar popped the question on Dec. 26.

Both couples plan August – 2011 weddings.
