Todd Wayne Neal Jr. was celebrating Father's Day early as he was enroute to the hospital to witness the birth of his new born child, but he never made it as he was shot and killed in a road rage incident on Monday (June 11th).

Star-Telegram report, a drug dispute may have caused the incident that killed the 20-year-old as he sat on the passenger side in a vehicle as the confrontation began in the parking lot in the 3800 block of Altamesa Blvd in Fort Wort.

Neal was riding in a black Lexus when Keilon Warren driving a burgundy Chrysler 300 opened fire in their direction and according to the police report authorities didn’t believe the driver or Neal was injured.

From the 9-1-1 call Warren and another driver in a black Chevrolet pickup chased them near Sycamore School Road and I-35 when they stopped on the service road by the intersection of Wilshire Blvd and Renfro Street which lead to another confrontation and Neal was shot.

Warren was taken into custody and drugs along with fake identification cards, fraudulent credit cards, checks and an undisclosed amount of cash was located after arrest warrants were issued.

The investigation is still pending.
