Rihanna Expresses Love for Chris Brown, Says Rachel Dolezal Is a ‘Hero’ in Vanity Fair Cover Story
In her candid interview with writer Lisa Robinson, RiRi offers her opinion about one of this summer's hot topics, Rachel Dolezal, the 37-year-old former NAACP chapter president who posed as a black woman.
“I think she was a bit of a hero, because she kind of flipped on society a little bit," she said. "Is it such a horrible thing that she pretended to be black? Black is a great thing, and I think she legit changed people’s perspective a bit and woke people up.”
Of course, some fans were very disappointed by the "Stay" singer's comments and are sounding off with their thoughts on Twitter. The consensus? They're not feeling Rihanna for supporting a woman who conned people into thinking she was black.
Elsewhere in the interview, the 27-year-old superstar reveals that she still cares for Chris Brown.
"I will care about him until the day I die," she said of her former boyfriend. "We’re not friends, but it’s not like we’re enemies. We don’t have much of a relationship now.”
Rihanna tells Vanity Fair that she's currently single despite rumors that she's dating Travi$ Scott. The "FourFiveSeconds" singer reveals her dating life can get complicated but she's not opposed to having one-night stands. “If I wanted to I would completely do that,” states Rihanna. “I am going to do what makes me feel happy, what I feel like doing. But that would be empty for me; that to me is a hollow move. I would wake up the next day feeling like s---."
