The clean up & rebuilding efforts continue in the communities affected by last Saturday's tornadoes.  The East Texas Red Cross is coordinating multi-organization relief & recovery events in Canton & Emory through this weekend.

Designed to make tornado disaster victims' access to help as easy as possible, Canton's Civic Center on Flea Market Boulevard is hosting various agencies under the direction of the Red Cross until 6pm today, then again between 10am & 6pm Friday & Saturday, as well as 1-6pm Sunday.  Service providers such as insurance companies, legal aid reps, veterans affairs units, government office staffs, & various church groups are all on hand to assist individuals & families.  In Emory, those same services will be available at the Hillside Center on East Lennon Drive from 10am til 6pm Friday & Saturday.

The Red Cross wants to emphasize that residents of Eustace, Fruitvale, & anywhere else in the area needing assistance as a result of the tornadoes are welcome at either of these Multi-Agency Resource Centers.  As we've seen since last Sunday, everyone wants to help, so please stop by if you can use a hand to get things back closer to normal.
