R&B Singer Brave Williams Drops New Video ‘U Tried It’ [EXCLUSIVE PREMIERE]

Baltimore native Brave Williams is back with her new single "U Tried It." The R&B singer/actress was first introduced to us when she was picked as the lead singer on Diddy's hit reality show, Making Da Band. Although she wasn't able to remain on the show due to her father's illness, Williams eventually went on to co-found the all-girl group Richgirl, which consisted of Sevyn Streeter, Audra Simmons, and Kristal Lyndriette Smith.

After the group disbanded, Williams released a solo EP in 2015, Fearless, and also appeared on Season 3 of R&B Divas: LA. Now back with a new single, "U Tried It," tells the story of a guy who is trying every trick in the book to get over on his girl.

"Tried talking to my best friend, she screenshot it, boy, you tried it/Swiping your homeboy card in the club, oh you tried it/Tried to scoop me up in your baby mama car–oh you tried it," Williams sings on the hook.

The uptempo song is accompanied by a colorful and high energy video that was directed by Chastity Corset. R&B singer Lil Mo makes a guest appearance in the video, while Williams uses her dance and vocals to keep the vibe high throughout the entire video.
