Rapper Rick Ross was forced to cancel a scheduled Friday night performance in Memphis when he suffered seizures aboard two separate planes that afternoon and was hospitalized.

The first seizure occurred on a Delta flight, causing it to make an emergency landing at Florida’s Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. A spokesman for the Broward Sheriff Fire Rescue said that while Ross, 34, did not require CPR, he did receive “advanced life-support care.”

After he seemingly recovered and tweeted “Memphis here I come,” he boarded a private jet — only to fall victim to another seizure. That plane was diverted to Birmingham, AL, where the rapper was rushed to the emergency room and hospitalized.

The Miami-based Ross, known for songs such as ‘Aston Martin Music’ and ‘Hustlin’, also canceled a Saturday night show in Greensboro, NC. His condition is currently unknown.
