Police Seek Public’s Help in Disappearance of Tyler Man
Police are asking the public’s help in finding the whereabouts of Gustavo Valdovinos, 33, of Tyler. He was last seen on July 8, at 2516 Canton Street in Tyler.
Law enforcement officials have no confirmation that foul play maybe involved at this time. Valdovinos has disappeared for a few days in the past but not for this long period of time. Family members have not heard from him and fear that something may have happened to him.
Gustavo is an Hispanic male 5-5, 140lbs, with black hair and brown eyes.

Overnight Shooting in Longview Leaves Two People Wounded
Early Thursday Morning Longview Police responded to shots fired call in the 1100 Block of West Marshall Avenue. When officers arrived at the scene they observed a car leaving the area at a high rate of speed.
Witnesses told police there were several males who were involved in an altercation. According to witnesses several shots were fired and two people were wounded. Police located one shooting victim, a 26 year-old black male, in a vehicle at the scene. That victim was transported to Good Shepherd Medical Center with life-threatening injuries. A short time later officers were advised another victim, a 23 year-old black male was brought in to Good Shepherd Medical Center by private vehicle with a life-threatening gunshot wound
A short time later Police located the vehicle they saw leaving the scene. No arrests have been made at this time.
