One-Year-Old Signs 10-Year Soccer Contract [VIDEO]

Baerke van der Meij is about to play with the big boys - well, sort of.

The 18-month-old soccer phenom was recently discovered via a YouTube video that showcased his ability to kick several balls into a box without much effort.

Shortly after the video was catapulted into Internet famedom, Dutch flight cub VVV-Venlo offered the boy a 10-year professional contract.

But don't place your World Cup bets just yet: The company says that his contract is merely a "symbolic" one, meaning young Baerke likely won't be running down the field any time soon.

According to the Telegraph, Baerke's grandfather played football professionally in the city of Venlo.
