Niners Win Over Panthers to Advance to NFC Championship

The San Francisco 49ers will participate yet again in the NFC championship game as they won on the road, 23-10, over the Carolina Panthers.

Jim Harbaugh became the first coach in the Super Bowl era to advance to the conference championship game in each of his first three seasons.

San Francisco will travel to Seattle to take on the division-rival Seahawks, who they split wins with earlier in the season. Seattle won the first meeting, 29-3, and San Francisco took the second time around, 19-17, on Dec. 8.
