Buffalo Bills’ linebacker Kirk Morrison traded a 20-year-old Canadian business student with the same name as his to an NFL game experience in exchange for the Twitter handle @kirkmorrison.

The NFL player Morrison, who formerly tweeted through the account @kirkmorrison55 — his former jersey number with the Jacksonville Jaguars — provided a fully paid trip for two and game passes for NFL fan Morrison, who is from Saskatchewan, Canada to see the Bills play the New York Jets at Ralph Wilson Stadium in Buffalo last Sunday. The University of Regina student chose the game as part of a trade he negotiated to turn over ownership of his account on the social media platform.

“He is such a great guy,” said fan Kirk of player Kirk to the Regina Leader-Post. “He was super nice and friendly with us and happy to see us.”

The Canadian Kirk was able to go on the field prior to the Bills’ 27-11 loss to the Jets, a game he watched with the linebacker’s mother. Morrison’s brother, Kent, accompanied him on the trip to the game.

The brothers Morrison saw a Buffalo Sabres NHL game the day before the football game. They also met the NFL player who sponsored their visit, legendary Bills’ players Jim Kelly and Thurman Thomas, in addition to attending a post-game event in a private suite at the stadium.

For his new Twitter handle, college student Kirk Morrison chose @KirkMorrison91, for 1991, the year he was born.
