A horror movie written and directed by an East Texan and filmed nearby in Pittsburg will make its public screening debut in Longview on Monday.

"Unwanted" is a film about a couple that moved into an old house and find out it is haunted.

East Texan Paul Foster wrote and directed "Unwanted" and filmed it at the Holman House in Pittsburg. The 103 year old home is believed to be haunted by a young girl, according to the Tyler Morning Telegraph.

Many paranormal experiences have been said to have happened by those who have stayed in the home.

The movie will debut Monday at The Reserve on Highway 259 in Longview. Doors will open at 6:30 P.M. with the film starting at 7 P.M. Tickets can be purchased at unwantedthemovie.com for $20.

Foster and many of the cast and crew will be at the premiere.

After the film, a reception will held. Attendees will also be able to purchase various promotional items. There will also be a raffle to win props from the movie. Funds from the raffle will be donated to the videography department at Pittsburg ISD.

Donations will also be accepted to help with distribution of the movie.
