Michelle Obama to Host ‘Doc McStuffins’ Screening on Veterans Day

Nov. 11 is Veterans Day and as part of the Joining Forces initiative, First Lady Michelle Obama will host a screening of a military-themed episode of Disney Channel's "Doc McStuffins" for families of veterans at the White House.

The Scott household is very familiar with the 6-year-old girl who goes by the name "Doc McStuffins," who communicates with and heals broken toys and stuffed animals in her backyard playhouse clinic.

On Veterans Day, the Disney Channel and Disney Junior will air an episode titled "Training Army AI." This episode will focus on the emotions of young children deal with when a parent or loved one is deployed.
