Michelle Obama Helps Build Playground In D.C.

First Lady Michelle Obama joined over 400 volunteers on Wednesday to build a playground at the Imagine Southeast Public Charter School in Southeast Washington, DC. The National non-profit group KaBOOM! spearheaded the event which is dedicated to creating play space withing walking distance for children. In D.C., Imaging School is hte only charter school in the D.C. area that provides single-sex education in one school with boys and girls learning in separate classes beginning in the first grade.
