Lottery fever has people pulling out their wallets and office workers pooling their money to buy tickets as the Mega Millions and Powerball jackpots keep growing, now worth a combined total of more than $1.3 billion.

According to ABC7 NY, there hasn't been a Mega Millions jackpot winner since July 24th, and it's now risen to $970 million, the biggest in the game's history and the second largest lottery jackpot in U.S. history, ahead of tonight's (October 19th) drawing.

Meanwhile, the Powerball jackpot has grown to $430 million leading up to its drawing on Saturday, after it also hasn't had a jackpot winner in several weeks. The biggest lottery jackpot in U.S. history was a $1.6 billion Powerball prize in 2016.

While focusing on the big jackpot even winning a piece of the pie is still worth a $2 investment and even having an office pool gives your more chances of winning the jackpot.

The Mega Millions drawing is Friday October 19th, at 10 p.m. and the Powerball drawing is Saturday October 20th at 10 p.m.

Good luck!
