Mary J. Blige’s Newest Tax Lien Equals $901,000

Seems like all the stars are having money troubles this tax season but Mary J. Blige appears to be in the worst financial mess.

According to TMZ, the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul owes New Jersey $901,769.65 in back taxes.

The near million dollar tax lien comes after a string of other expensive fiscal issues. At the beginning of February, MJB was sued for defaulting on a bank loan worth half of a million dollars. In 2012, she was sued for the same reason on a $2.2 million bank loan.

Blige's charity was also sued for failing to pay the balance for a $250,000 loan last year. She responded to this last May, saying, "The problem is that I didn't have the right people in the right places doing the right things."
