Mariah Carey has kept herself busy with motherhood, doting on her twins, and taking on the task of judging 'American Idol' hopefuls week after week, but she's managed to get back to her craft in the process.

The chart-topping songstress has recorded a new song with celebrated crooner Miguel. 'Beautiful,' which will debut on May 6, follows last year's 'Triumphant (Get 'Em),' her collaboration with Rick Ross and Meek Mill, and 'Almost Home,' the theme song for the 2013 film 'Oz the Great and Powerful.'

During the 'American Idol' results show last night, viewers were surprised with a teaser of the track and its accompanying Joseph Kahn-directed video. Boasting a hearty guitar instrumental, the song is played back as shots of Carey caressing her face are shown. She giggles while seated on a motorcycle and Miguel gets some face time too as he checks himself out in the mirror of a classic ride.

'Beautiful' will appear on Carey's 14th album. Her last LP, 'Merry Christmas II You,' was released in 2010.

Let the new era begin.
