East Texas Native Lovie Smith Interviews With Texans

The Houston Texans are already searching for their next coach and interviewed East Texas native and former Chicago Bears coach Lovie Smith for the job.

Smith, who was fired after the 2012 season despite reaching the NFC Championship game, coached the Bears for nine seasons with an 81-63 record. He also led the team to a Super Bowl appearance.

Smith is a 1976 graduate of Big Sandy High School in East Texas.
