Longview Lobos & JT Lions Faceoff for District

WHO YA WITH for the Longview Lobo & John Tyler Lion Faceoff this Friday at the Lobo Stadium? Tickets are flying out of the box office for this one! Everyone is waiting to see which of these awesome East Texas teams will likely win district.

OK... Let me explain. The Longview Lobos are leading District 11 in 6A ball with a 4-0 record. John Tyler has a record of 3-1, which makes them the two top teams in the district.  Therefore, it's safe to say whomever has the W at the end of the night will win district.

Now, it is now secret how much I love all my bEASTtx football teams. However, I bleed green and I have to roll out with my Longview Looooboooos!  And In case someone is up for a little pre-game fun, the Longview Lobo Tailgating Crew will host a tailgate at the lot across from the Lobo practice field, 5 p.m. - 7 p.m. Both, fans of the big green and fans of the big blue are welcome to join.
