Longview Lady Lobos Basketball Camp Set for June

Looking at the school calendar, there are only four weeks left until summer. Kids throughout East Texas will be having a ton of fun during the vacation but it doesn’t mean they don’t have to quit learning and practicing, because after all, practice makes perfect. If you have a young lady who is interested in basketball, then Longview Lady Lobos’ head coach Keith Smith would love to have her attend this years’ Lady Lobos Basketball Camp.

Coach Keith Smith will be heading up this years camp the week of June 11 from 8 a.m. to noon at Forest Park Middle School for those girls that are headed into the 4th through 9th grades. Girls attending this program will improve upon their shooting skills, ball handling abilities, work on individual offense, defensive footwork and proper stance.

While at camp there will be a friendly competition going on to improve the girls self-esteem. Coach Smith will have contests surrounding hot shots, lay ups, free throws and ball handling.

What’s great about this four day program is that breakfast and lunch are provided and it’s affordable too, with a cost of $40 in advance and $45 at the door.
