Longview and Greg County Officials Searching for Longview Car Thief
On Monday night, it was reported by KLTV 7 that Longview Police Department and Gregg County Police are looking for man who stole multiple vehicles.
Wesley Byron Smith, 35, is said to have stolen a Hummer from a relative's car dealership and he drove the vehicle toward Gilmer where he wrecked. Police say Smith stole a second vehicle and carjacked and older female by throwing her out of her own car and returned to that same car lot later on, where he stole another vehicle.
Smith had been said to be under alcohol influence and is now on the loose in a 2012 Toyota Yaris plate number CPD 8834.
