Lil Wayne's health was a priority after shooting a music video earlier this week.

The rapper was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital as a result of experiencing seizures Tuesday night (March 12). Sources close to Wayne revealed to TMZ that he was on the set of Birdman's 'Tapout' video and subsequently headed to Cedars-Sinai hospital when the seizures hit.

The 'I Am Not a Human Being II' creator was released early Wednesday morning.

Last fall, the New Orleans native suffered from two seizures while flying. After the first seizure hit, the private jet he was flying in made an emergency landing in Texas. In a 24-hour time period, he experienced a second while he was on a flight from Texas to Los Angeles. He later admitted that a doctor prescribed him seizure medication.

Wayne recently postponed his European tour, but health issues weren't the cause. "I am rescheduling my European tour in order to release my album, 'I Am Not A Human Being II,' world wide on March 26th," Wayne said in a statement given to LilWayneHQ. "I didn't want my tour or album to be rushed, so despite my best hopes, I have made the decision to push back the tour to October 2013."

The 'Love Me' rhymer is apparently doing better since his release from the hospital.
