Lara Logan: Receives Call from President Obama
Lara Logan, the CBS correspondent brutally attacked last week in Egypt following the resignation for Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak, received a phone call from President Obama yesterday.
Although no information was released, an anonymous White House official told CNN that the president made the call.
The 39-year-old Logan was covering the celebrations in the wake of Mubarak's resignation when she was attacked by a mob of about 200 people. She became separated from her crew and security team and was beaten and sexually assaulted, according to a CBS statement.
She was released from the hospital on Tuesday and is reportedly resting at her Washington, D.C. home.
