When The Real Housewives of Atlanta was created, it was intended to showcase wealthy African Americans in the Atlanta Georgia area. However, when the show's producers met Kim Zolciak, they loved her so much that they nixed the original idea. Now, with three seasons of the show under her belt, word is Kim's leaving the "Housewives" and getting her own reality show spin-off! A show insider explained:

“Kim is a game-changer. She was the first housewife to release a single ["Tardy for the Party"] and just like Bethenny [Frankel], she fell in love and got pregnant while taping the show. She’s the perfect choice for the next lady to get her own show.”

Back in 2008, when The Real Housewives of Atlanta debuted, it took just a year to become the Bravo's highest rated "Housewives" show in history! Kim's new show will showcase the working new mom, with her new man trying to juggle her life, while trying to maintain her music career.

We think the show will be good! Will you be watching?
