Kim Kardashian Releases Divorce Statement

We all knew that it would not last, but no one thought it would be over after only 72 days of marriage. However, Kim Kardashian has released an official statement to E! News about her decision to file for divorce from Kris Humphries, stating:

“After careful consideration, I have decided to end my marriage,” she said. “I hope everyone understands this was not an easy decision. I had hoped this marriage was forever, but sometimes things don’t work out as planned. We remain friends and wish each other the best.”

Kim's camp has asked the Kris Humphries pay for his own attorney, fees, and asked the courts to not grant him any spousal support. Dang! Now something to keep in mind is the fact that Kim made 18 million dollars off of her "fairytale" wedding bonanza! Is this all for publicity? Experts are saying that Kim will make even more money off her "newly single" status.

Kim cited “irreconcilable differences” as to the reason for the abrupt divorce. Although much speculation has been discussed about the real reasonfor their split, such as cheating, and the fact the Kris Humphries isn't making any money from the NBA with the ongoing lockout, but the biggest rumor for the real reason for the split is the fact that Kim is not over her ex, NFL player Reggie Bush.
