Kilgore Man Wanted For Murder Captured In Gary Indiana

A Kilgore man is behind bars after being apprehended in Gary Indiana for the murder of a woman on New Year’s Eve in 2017.

According to KLTV, Dwight Patrick Scott was booked into the Gregg County Jail on Thursday (January 17^th) after receiving an antonymous tip January 7^th while in Gary Indiana.

Scott was on the run after the body of Tracy Lynn Reed was discovered on New Year’s Eve on the sidewalk of the Meadow Green Apartment Complex with gunshot wounds.

He is charged with murder and bond is set for $1 million.
