Contrary to reports, rapper-producer Kanye West is not calling his album 'I Am God.' The rumor originally came from a BBC story and the Internet went into a tizzy.

The Huffington Post spoke to a "reliable source" who revealed that Yeezy's upcoming single will be called 'I Am A God' not 'I Am God.' Furthermore, West's album remains untitled.

"We would never be so presumptuous or sacrilegious to call ourselves the supreme being," the source told the HuffPost.

According to the website, the song is in reference to the Biblical scripture Psalm 82, which reads: "I said, 'You are gods, And all of you are children of the Most High. But you shall die like men, And fall like one of the princes.'"

This is further corroborated by West's longtime collaborator, poet Malik Yusef, who posted in a tweet on Twitter directed towards Team Kanye Daily. "I am(A) GOD" FAMO #psalms 82," he wrote.

So, West's single will likely have a spiritual theme to it. Are we going to hear a song similar to his fiery anthem 'Jesus Walks' or maybe 'New God Flow'? Who knows?

It will be interesting to hear what Kanye West brings to the rap game next.
