Kanye West delivered an inspiring speech for graduates at the Los Angeles Trade Technical College on Friday (May 29). The mercurial rhymer dropped some sagely advice that was informative, and yes, very much Kanye.

According to Complex, West returned to the school after teaching classes in September 2014 as part of his 250-hour community service he received for attacking a cameraman at LAX. During his speech, he encouraged students to perfect their craft and never give up on their passion no matter what the haters say.

"It's a tough world out there. You're going to prepare yourself for politics, bad bosses, hating employees, and usually when you're the absolute best, you get hated on the most," he shared in the speech.

"But never stop fighting no matter what anyone says. No matter how they try to compromise you, compromise your vision," he continued. "If it's in your gut, if it's in your soul, there's nothing, there's no worldly possessions that should come between you and your expression."

West also attended LATTC's Golden Thimble Fashion Show, which is an exhibition of the fashion students' own work displayed in a predetermined theme.

Hopefully, the students learned some pearls of wisdom from the very outspoken rapper and producer.
