Tuesday, The House Ethics Committee announced that they are going to proceed to investigate Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. made an illegal attempt to purchase President Barack Obama‘s former Senate chair. Of course Rep. Jackson has denied these allegations and hasn't been formally charged with any attempted wrongdoing. Jackson is the son of great civil rights leader Jesse Jackson.

The actual allegations are that Jackson, or someone representing him offered to fundraise for former Illinois Govenor Rod Blagojevich, and in return get the Senate seat. The case was deferred back in 2009, but Chairman Jo Bonner of Alabama and Linda Sanchez of California said the panel voted Oct. 13 to end the deferral. The investigation is set to begin very soon.

Do you think Jackson is guilty?
